Walked into town first thing this morning to buy some bits for the swap I'm doing on the 'Project 365 in 2011' forum on Ravelry. I've managed to get some things so hopet they'll be OK. I'm sending them overseas so didn't want anything too big!! F is off to London later on today and I'm off work all week - hurrah!! Saw these ducks as I was walking into town - so this is my photo for today.

Had a day at home today - it's the Spring Bank holiday so we're both off. Did a bit of gardening - planted my begonias and bizzy lizzies (that we bought last week) in the front tubs. This is the cosmos we bought at the same place.

On the way home from Sheffield we stopped at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and they had an exhibition of Jaume Plensa's work - it was amazing! This is a photo of one of his pieces.

We've been to Sheffield for the weekend - to see Matthew Bourne's 'Cinderella' - it was great. We stopped at Holmfirth on the way there (where 'Last of the Summer Wine' was filmed) but I didn't manage to get any good photographs. This is a photo of the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield.

We had our Team Day today at Kentmere Village Hall. We started with a walk and we found this little dog who was very muddy and seemed exhausted. We took him back to the Village Hall and put him in the back of one of our cars and called the RSPCA. They took him off to a local vet and said they would keep him for seven days. Apart from that we had a lovely day - great food and good to be all together for probably the last time before people start to leave or join the new team.

I've been baking today for our team day at Kentmere tomorrow. I made cheese straws, cheese and chutney things and some little cakes. Rained most of the day.

Nice weather today!! Sunny and dry - so I did a little bit of gardening before I went to work. I planted up the cosmos and fuscias that we bought at the weekend. This is a photo of the other present Clint and Gillian brought us back from China - we only found out last night (when F spoke to Clint) that it is a cover for a bottle of wine!!!
