Home again!

Had a very busy day again today. We all went to the cemetry first thing to scatter John's ashes at mum's grave, then we went to lunch, then I had to take dad back to hospital, then met up with all the family from Liverpool later in the afternoon. The weather was gorgeous we we caught the ferry from Cremyll over to Mount Edgcumbe. Stephen, Jamie and Tom were teaching Dylan and Jake how to skim stones at the beach.

We left Modbury this morning (in the pouring rain!) to drive home. I'm driving back down on Sunday.

We drove to Kingsbridge this evening and had fish and chips!! A long tiring day for both of us.

We've been down in Plymouth since Sunday - dad in hospital as he's had a stroke. We're staying at a very nice campsite at Modbury (just outside Plymouth) but the weather has been awful - very wet and very windy!

We walked into the centre of Durham from the campsite - it was a three mile walk mostly along the river. Visited the Cathedral whilst we were there.

Just left work and we're off to Durham for the weekend in the sunshine in the campervan.
