Busy today getting ready for our trip away. A bit of a dull day so just took this photo of a big fat rhodendron bud.

This should have been a work day today but I've taken a flexi day. I've been busy baking - made a spiced apple cake and a smoked salmon tart.

A very miserable day!!! It rained the whole day. I baked some Camembert with garlic (a la Loraine Pascale!) - very tastey (but very messy too!!!).

A lovley sunny but very windy day today. Fraser has gone to marshall The Three Peaks Race on top of Whernside. I've been buying more plants to go in the garden and I picked some of the rhubarb and baked a rhubarb cheescake.
