I'm half-way through my photo-a-day project and I haven't missed a day!! We've had a swap on Ravelry to celebrate reaching this point and these are the gifts I've received from Kristina in Missouri!! Very generous and thoughtful! I'm spending today with dad - looks like good weather today.

I'm driven down to Plymouth today - lovely weather all the way down. I got here at about 3 o'clock (I left home at just after 8.00). Spoke to David - he's had his keyhole surgery on his knee - he's been told he needs a complete knee replacement. Spent the evening with Al - we went to Prince William Yard for a drink - it's such a lovely spot.

Another warm day - not very sunny though. Managed to finish my June squares for the Phoenix knitalong this morning before I left for work so I'll have to get them posted off tomorrow or Thursday. Driving down to Plymouth tomorrow.

Lots of birthdays today: Neil, Mal, Luisa, Sheila and Darren's little half-sister, Michelle. Had a good day at work - busy but enjoyable. F still here when I got home so it was nice to see him as I won't see him until Sunday now.

We were out walking by 8 o'clock this morning! It was very warm but humid. We just walked along the river and I took this photo of the wild flowers. Came home and gardened for the rest of the day. I finally got around to finishing the bit of garden at the side at the front. F was trying to get the fascias finished.

These are my purchases from Woolfest (some of them!!). We've had a great day today (even though the weather has been awful!). We drove down to Preston to look at a campervan and then to Stafford and ended up buying a La Strada- we're delighted with it. Hope to pick it up in a couple of weeks.

Been to Woolfest today - had a brilliant time. Went with Heather and Anne and met up with everyone else when I got there. Bought lots of wool, buttons and a few other bits and bobs!!

Had a lovely day again today. Baked some chocolate cookies first thing (for Ginny's and Margaret's birthdays) then went around to Sheila's. We walked up to the castle with her dog Bailey then went to Beetham Nurseries for lunch. It was lovely to catch up with her. Came home and baked F a chocolate ginger cake. Then went briefly to knitting - didn't stay long! Looking forward to going to Woolfest tomorrow with Anne and Heather.

Had a brilliant day today at Higham Hall (between Cockermouth and Keswick) - I was on a Nordic sock knitting course with Annemor Sundbo. The photo shows some of her collection of mittens and a sock! Higham Hall is a beautiful place and we had a lovely lunch and tea and cake too. I went with Cheryl from my knitting group. Off to Strickland Arms later for the pub quiz.

A photo of some lupins from the garden. It's been like winter here today and it's Midsummer's Day!!! I even bought thick hearty soup for lunch from Baba Ganoush! I'm excited about my day at Higham Hall tomorrow - Nordic sock course.

It's actually been a nice day today - dry and sunny! I went to Wool'n'Stuff this evening and we did a bit of Tablet Weaving - Marieca gave a really good demonstration and some interesting background information - then we had a go!! It is very fiddly to do but fun to try it.

Father's Day today - tried phoning my dad but he seems to have a problem with this phone at the moment! We drove down to Newark today to look at campervans - spent ages having a really good look. We think we know what we want now - we just have to find a second-hand one!! Lorna phoned when we got home to say Holly really liked her birthday socks and little bag.

Went swimming this morning and then went into town with F when I got back. We picked up the folding bike. Started clearing the side path this afternoon and did a bit more sewing.

Had a doctor's appointment first thing this morning - new patient check up. I asked about my finger and I have to go back on Monday morning before work. Spent most of the rest of the day trying to make a little bag. Went out in the evening with Elaine and Gerry - had a very nice meal at The Highwayman at Caton.

Walked into town first thing this morning with F and it poured down - as can be seen from this photograph! Went to my RC class later - lost another pound. Off to knitting this evening.

F and I went swimming first thing this morning - we went to Lancaster. It was a bit busy but it was good and I managed to do a few lengths!!! Then we drove to Morecambe and parked up and cycled along the promenade. It was a lovely morning - sunny and dry. Took this photo of the paving on the promenade. Allan phoned when we got home to say that Bayern Munich are interested in buying Dale!!

Went to Lancaster first thing this morning to my swimming class - last one next week. Drove home via Morecambe Bay so stopped and took my photo for the day. Did some more gardening when I got home - nice sunny day but not very warm!

Been at Farfield Mill all day today to meet up with our textile group - had a lovely day. Spotted J and her mum while I was there! We're working on colour at the moment so we were doing some painting.

Had a good day today - went to RC at lunchtime (lost four and a half pounds!!!). Then walked home then back into town later - first a visit to Williams' Wools to get some yarn for my Deco cardigan then to the Brewery for Sheila and Janice's leaving do, then back to the wool shop for my weekly knitting group get-together!!! Had a good day at work today - got my new hours sorted out I think! I'll now be working on a Wednesday, Thursday and every other Tuesday half-day - suits me just right!! Just getting ready to go to the pub quiz - I'm being picked up at 9. Spoke to Allan - he said he wishes he could come along too!!!

Been to the motorhome show in Stratford upon Avon today - we saw a van that we really liked!!! Took this photo in Henley in Arden on the way to see Mal and Win. Mal not so good but lovely to see them and Carole called in to see us too.

This is a view of Kendal taken from the Castle on a lovely sunny day. We walked into town via the Castle and stopped in town and had some lunch. We also bought a fold-up bike!!! Came home and spent the afternoon in the garden.

Had a lovely day today with Anne - we went to Lancaster fabric shopping!! We went to Standfast first and bought a few bits then went to Fabrix and got some more!! Had a wander around the other shops whilst we were there - it's been really sunny and warm today.

I've had a busy day today! Up early - caught up with my cleaning - then went to re-join my Rosemary Conley class - I've got to lose some weight!!! Came back and went food shopping (to get all my low fat food!) then Anne called in and we went to the knitting group which was really nice as I got birthday cards and presents! And I even won a prize in the raffle!!!

Had a day at home today - I've been waiting for my photographs from Aldi to arrive but they didn't!! J from work called to say I've been given the hours I wanted so that's good. I phoned A - we're both going to go to knitting group tomorrow and to Lancaster on Friday. I've got all my 'bits' together for my swap - just waiting for my photos to arrive so I can include one of them. This is a photo of one of my K socks (in my eternal A-Z sock challenge) - wishing now that I'd never started it and don't think I will finish it!!!!! (But I don't like to give up.)
